Old World Specialties began in 1989 with an idea and a good wassail recipe. We carefully mixed every bag by hand. And in our first season, we sold more wassail than we would be able to hand produce in six months. Our leap into machine production brought many benefits.

Dear Folks at Old World Specialties: I thought you might like to know about my experience with your soup mix. While cleaning out my pantry today, I found a package of Mexican Fiesta Soup Mix that was given to me for Christmas last year. I started to throw it out since it was almost a year old, but decided instead to fix it for supper…. after all, if it tasted old, there is plenty of food in the house… we could eat something else. I cooked and served it according to the package directions (no flour tortilla pieces in it, but restaurant style tortilla chips served with it). It was very good! When I finish using up some of the other bean soups and beans I found in the pantry today, I will order some from you… and try something else as well.
